Who is Dr. Todd?

Dr. Shupe is an internationally recognized expert in wood science, forensic analysis, and wood decay/preservation with:

• 30+ years of experience in wood science, wood preservation/decay, and performance/failure of wood-based products in service.
• 300+ technical publications in the field.

• A Ph.D. in Wood Science from LSU, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University, and a LEED Green Associate.

• Fellow of the International Academy of Wood Science.
• Leadership roles in multiple professional associations, including:

    • Fellow, International Academy of Wood Science
    • Fellow, The Institute of Wood Science
    • Past Board Member, Journal of Wood Science (Japan)
