Field Testing
We conduct a wide range of AWPA-standard and non-standard field tests to support the development and approval of new wood products and preservatives. These long-term studies, often spanning multiple years, are essential for evaluating a material’s resistance to termites and decay fungi under real-world service conditions. Test plots are available in environments known to be infested with Formosan termites as well as aggressive white rot and brown rot fungi, providing rigorous conditions for performance validation.
Lab Testing
We perform termite, decay, mold, corrosion, leaching, bending and other standard and non-standard laboratory tests to provide rapid, science-based evaluations of wood product performance. These controlled tests offer reliable data to guide product development, quality assurance, and regulatory submissions delivered with the precision and integrity you can expect from experienced wood science professionals.
